An Onshore Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR), including a Schedule of Mitigation, was prepared for Buchan Offshore Wind’s onshore works and submitted to support the onshore planning application to Aberdeenshire Council in 2025. The EIAR and its appendices assess the impacts of all onshore elements of the project landward of mean low water springs, including the landfall, onshore cable route and new substation, and form part of the onshore consent documentation now under consideration by the planning authority.
