By 8 October 2025, Buchan Offshore Wind had carried out detailed assessments to identify and address environmental constraints when locating the landfall and underground cable routes for its onshore connection to Peterhead, using this constraints analysis alongside community feedback to refine the onshore routing and substation siting proposals.
