Statnett’s Inner Oslofjord power connection project, which includes the 420 kV subsea AC link between Filtvet in Hurum and Brenntangen in Vestby Municipality (the Brenntangen–Filtvet interconnector), was planned to be completed and enter full operation in 2018, following Nexans’ contract to design, manufacture and install the two new subsea cable systems that replace older links and strengthen security of supply and power exchange capacity.
