In 2018, Nexans Norway began installing a new 420 kV subsea cable system comprising seven individual cables between Filtvet (Hurum) and Brenntangen (Vestby) in the Inner Oslofjord, as part of Statnett’s project to replace older cable systems and strengthen the electricity supply to Eastern Norway.
