In the Ten-Year Transmission Network Development Plan 2019–2028, HOPS launched the strategic project “Replacement of 110 kV submarine cables”, covering all island 110 kV links including the Brač–Hvar (Slatina–Travna) section. The plan foresees a total investment of around 490 million HRK for simultaneous replacement of these cables and associated infrastructure, with HOPS intending to secure roughly 70% of the funding from non‑repayable EU funds and to complete all works in the 2019–2021 period.
