An academic feasibility study by Satir et al., published in January 2018, carried out a detailed technical and economic assessment of an offshore wind farm in the Bozcaada region of the Aegean Sea using windPro software. Two alternative offshore sites near Bozcaada were modelled, annual energy production was estimated, and overall project feasibility was evaluated, providing one of the first quantified resource assessments for an offshore wind project at Bozcaada.
