G-tec led the first phase of seabed geophysical surveying for Thistle Wind Partners’ ScotWind projects, including the 1 GW Bowdun fixed-bottom offshore wind farm (E3) and the Ayre floating project (NE2). The work was scheduled to run from March to October 2023 and used survey-vessel deployed sensors to collect data on seabed structure across the project areas. G-tec also carried out advanced processing of the acquired data to feed subsequent ground modelling studies supporting the projects’ development and design activities.
