On 9 December 2024, Ofgem opened a public consultation on Bowdun Offshore Wind Farm Limited’s application for consent to exercise statutory rights of entry on land under paragraph 10 of Schedule 4 of the Electricity Act 1989. The consultation invited responses from electricity generation licence holders, landowners, stakeholders and the public on Ofgem’s proposed approach to granting this land access consent and ran until 20 January 2025.
