As a radial-connected 1,008 MW fixed-bottom project connecting to the planned Hurlie substation at Fetteresso Forest near Stonehaven, the offshore substation platform (whose foundations are within Ramboll's March 2024 Pre-FEED scope and whose electrical/civil design is within COWI's scope) must be commissioned and energised before turbines can export power onshore via the export cable circuits.
