Around late September 2025, Thistle Wind Partners selected OWC and Empire Engineering to act as owner’s engineering service providers for its two 1 GW ScotWind projects, including the Bowdun fixed-bottom offshore wind farm off Aberdeenshire. The owner’s engineers will support TWP through technical oversight and design review as Bowdun progresses through development towards consent, FEED, and later construction.
