In 2020, Thistle Wind Partners (TWP) was founded as a joint venture between DEME Concessions, Qair Marine, and Aspiravi to develop offshore wind projects in Scotland, including the Bowdun Offshore Wind Farm. The consortium combines the three companies’ offshore engineering and renewables experience and acts as the development company for Bowdun Offshore Wind Farm Limited (BOWFL), the project applicant for Bowdun’s onshore planning permission in principle.
