Description
McDermott International was awarded a lump-sum turnkey EPCIC contract by TenneT for the BorWin6 980 MW 320 kV HVDC project, acting as the lead contractor in a consortium with GEIRI/C-EPRI. McDermott’s scope for the offshore HVDC converter platform (BorWin kappa) included engineering, procurement, fabrication, transportation, installation and commissioning of the topside module and jacket, including jacket and piling installation. McDermott’s scope for the onshore converter station included engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
