Description
Siemens Energy (named as Siemens in the sources), as part of the Dragados Offshore/Siemens consortium, was awarded a contract by TenneT for the BorWin5 (BorWin epsilon) HVDC offshore grid connection. Siemens was to provide the offshore platform’s HVDC conversion equipment and to develop/build the onshore converter station (ground substation), as part of the consortium’s scope covering converter stations at sea and on land.
