Description
Amprion Offshore GmbH commissioned Siemens Energy for the BorWin4 (and DolWin4) HVDC grid connection systems. Siemens Energy’s scope of supply covered the converter stations, including the offshore converter platform converter technology and the associated onshore converter station near Amprion’s Hanekenfähr substation in Lingen (Ems). Siemens Energy was also responsible for complete maintenance of the converter solutions for an initial period of 10 years.
