On 26 February 2025, electrical connection technology supplier Pfisterer secured a contract from Siemens Energy to deliver turnkey CONNEX cable connector/accessory systems for the BorWin4 (and DolWin4) offshore HVDC grid connection platforms. Pfisterer's scope is the high-voltage cable connector and plug-in bushing systems that interface the converter platforms with the 320 kV HVDC export cables supplied by Prysmian - not the main cable system itself. The contract is a subcontract under Siemens Energy's converter station scope. Classified as procurement_other to reflect that this is an accessory/subsystem contract distinct from Prysmian's main cable_supplier award of 15 September 2022.
