On 30 March 2021, Amprion Offshore GmbH announced that it had started the bidding process for awarding the converter systems and cable packages for the DolWin4 and BorWin4 offshore grid connection systems, launching a private tender that combines both projects to exploit synergies and covers all converter systems, optional maintenance services, and associated submarine and underground cables.
