Chinese power cable manufacturer ZTT was awarded a contract in March 2017 as general contractor for TenneT to supply and construct a 155 kV HVAC grid connection between the EnBW Hohe See offshore wind farm and the 900 MW BorWin3 DC grid connection system, delivering the connection as a turnkey solution including shunt reactors, a GIS terminal and land conversion joints in a EUR 25 million project executed with Van Oord and Siemens.
