OMPA supplied survey, cable and topside pull-in teams to Offshore Marine Management to lay and monitor two approximately 1.1 km HVAC cables between the BARD Offshore 1 and BorWin alpha platforms for the BorWin1 project.
Offshore Marine People and Academy (OMPA) acted as a personnel subcontractor to Offshore Marine Management for the BorWin1 infield HVAC cable installation between the BARD Offshore 1 and BorWin alpha platforms. Under OMM’s installation contract with transpower stromübertragungs gmbh, OMPA supplied survey and cable teams to staff the DP2 support vessel used for the works. OMPA also provided two topside teams to perform J-tube pull-in operations and to support laying and monitoring of the two approximately 1.1 km HVAC cables between the platforms at around 40 m water depth. Their personnel contributed to the safe execution of the subsea cable laying and monitoring activities as part of the overall BorWin1 grid connection.
