Description
NKT contract with 50Hertz for the German leg (Bornholm–Germany) of the Bornholm Energy Island project. Scope covers design, manufacture and installation of approximately 164 km HVDC submarine cable (525 kV, 2 GW) plus 30 km onshore cable. Total manufactured cable ~492 km (2 power cores + metallic return × 164 km). Route: Bornholm to Kemnitz.
