Description
The Correll Group (Electrical Engineering Division, as presented by SPIE Wind Connect) secured a contract with Prysmian Powerlink to perform testing and terminations of the 66 kV inter-array cables and platform topside cables on the Gode Wind 3 and Borkum Riffgrund 3 offshore wind farms. The scope described engineering documentation and procedures, topside cable installation works in the shipyard (including Borkum Riffgrund 3 OCS), WTG mock-up trials, and offshore inter-array cable termination and testing activities, including routing/cleating of power cores and fibre/earth cables and pre- and post-termination testing.
