DELAYED +-3mo (May 2026): Ørsted Q1 2026 results (2026-05-06): construction-portfolio slide of the investor presentation now lists Borkum Riffgrund 3 COD as Q3 2026 (down from the earlier Q1 2026 target reiterated in the December 2025 first-power announcement). Project is at degree of completion >95 %; all 83 foundations and all 83 Siemens Gamesa SG 11.0-200 DD turbines are installed; 80 % of turbines have delivered first power. Ørsted attributes the slower-than-planned turbine commissioning to TSO unplanned grid outages and grid curtailment on the DolWin5 export route. Re-anchored to 2026-09-30 quarter (Q3 2026), the upper bound of Ørsted's published COD window. --- Full commercial operation of the 913 MW Borkum Riffgrund 3 offshore wind farm is planned for 2026. Ørsted states that, following first power in December 2025, the project is expected to be fully commissioned in 2026, with earlier guidance indicating a target of Q1 2026 for starting full commercial operation once all turbines are commissioned and connected via the 66 kV link to DolWin epsilon.
