Description
GEOSEA Geotechnical & Offshore Solutions NV was contracted by DONG Energy to install the turbine foundations at the Borkum Riffgrund 1 offshore wind farm in Germany. The scope covered installation of 77 monopile foundations including driving the piles, installing the transition pieces, and completing associated scour protection works, using the installation vessel Pacific Orca made available by the client, with offshore execution planned for 2014.
