On or around 29 August 2017, the cable lay vessel Ndurance was scheduled to begin laying and burying the export cable for the Blyth Offshore Demonstrator, running from the shore end near Cambois to gravity-based foundation (GBF) Location 6, marking the start of the offshore export cable installation campaign, later confirmed to be underway by mid‑September 2017.
