Description
Stantec provided engineering design services for the Berwick Bank grid connection scope, covering the cable routes and the onshore converter station to enable power generated offshore to connect into the National Grid network. The work included assessment of multiple routing options to account for local constraints and development of conceptual converter station layouts intended to minimise surplus material export and maximise sustainable drainage opportunities. The engagement was delivered for SSE Renewables and referenced the Cambois, Northumberland area.
