On 19 December 2025 Berwick Bank Wind Farm Limited submitted the Offshore Fish, Fisheries and Benthic ecology (OFFSAB) Monitoring Plan to the Scottish Government's Marine Directorate as a post-consent plan under the conditions of the Section 36 consent and deemed marine licences granted on 31 July 2025. The OFFSAB Monitoring Plan sets out the proposed approach to monitoring effects on offshore fish, commercial fisheries and benthic ecology during construction and operation of the Berwick Bank generating station and its associated offshore transmission infrastructure. Submission of the OFFSAB plan is one of a sequence of post-consent plans the developer is required to lodge with and obtain Marine Directorate sign-off on prior to commencement of offshore construction.
