The Bellrock Offshore Wind Farm project indicates that development consents for all project areas, including the offshore substation and export cable from the array to landfall between Findon and St Cyrus and the connection into SSEN Transmission’s new Hurlie substation, are expected to be awarded between 2027 and 2028. These planned consent awards would authorise both the offshore and onshore transmission infrastructure required to transmit Bellrock’s generation into the onshore 400 kV network.
