According to the Bellrock Offshore Wind Farm project timeline, from 2027 onwards the developer plans to enter an engineering design and procurement phase, which will cover key transmission elements including the offshore substation and offshore export cable that will bring power ashore between Findon and St Cyrus and connect to SSEN Transmission’s new Hurlie 400 kV substation west of Stonehaven in Aberdeenshire.
