Laying of a hybrid cable between Quiberon and Belle Isle.
Louis Dreyfus Travocean carried out the offshore installation of the hybrid power and fibre submarine cable known as "Quiberon Belle Ile 4" between Quiberon on the French mainland and Belle-Île-en-Mer for ERDF. The scope covered shore-end operations and full subsea laying of approximately 14.5 km of 20 kV HVAC composite cable forming the island’s main electricity supply link, with work executed in water depths up to about 25 m. This role formed part of the construction phase of the replacement Belle-Île-en-Mer interconnection commissioned around 2015.
