Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (reported at the time as Siemens Wind Power/Siemens) was awarded a contract by Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Ltd (BOWL) to supply, install and commission 84 SWT-7.0-154 direct-drive offshore wind turbines (7 MW class each) for the 588 MW Beatrice offshore wind farm in the Outer Moray Firth, Scotland. The scope included turbine installation and commissioning activities scheduled to start in summer 2018 and a long-term service and maintenance agreement stated as 15 years, including remote monitoring and diagnostics to support availability and performance.
