Description
Siem Offshore Contractors was awarded a turnkey supply and installation package for the Beatrice offshore wind farm’s inner-array (inter-array) grid cable system. The award was made by SHL Offshore Contractors BV. The scope included supplying and installing the 33 kV inner array cable system, providing vessels from Siem Offshore Contractors’ fleet for the installation works, and delivering associated materials and services such as submarine composite cables, cable protection systems and related accessories, plus post-installation termination, trenching and testing services. Offshore work was stated to begin in 2017 with completion targeted before the end of Q3 2018.
