In November 2014, SSE sold part of its ownership in the Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), reducing SSE’s original share and bringing CIP in as an equity partner; following this and a later transaction, SSE held 50% of the project while CIP held 25% and SDIC 25%.
