As part of the Beatrice OFTO onshore transmission works, Nexans installed the first of the two 400 kV onshore cable links and associated high-voltage accessories and successfully tested them on site, and by March 2018 had installed the 400 kV onshore circuits and outdoor sealing ends at Blackhillock substation, demonstrating the integrity of the high‑voltage onshore connection for the Beatrice export system.
