In August 2021, TC Beatrice OFTO Limited completed the purchase of the Beatrice offshore transmission assets and was granted an offshore transmission licence by Ofgem, securing an availability-based, index-linked regulated revenue stream for a 23-year term running until August 2044 for transmitting power from the Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm to the UK grid.
