Following the April 2025 export‑cable fault, Transmission Capital Partners and asset operator SSE Renewables engaged NKT to execute a turnkey repair of the damaged 220 kV subsea export cable on the Beatrice offshore transmission system, using adaptive rigid sea joints deployed via NKT’s cable‑handling system aboard the vessel North Sea Giant and completing the offshore repair campaign in just 38 days.
