As part of Nexans’ turnkey contract to create the high‑voltage export connection for Beatrice, the company completed the laying and burial of the first offshore export cable route in 2017, installing a 70 km 220 kV subsea cable from the Beatrice wind farm towards landfall on the Moray coast.
