The original terrestrial cable‑installation completion milestone of 2027‑10‑01 is somewhat earlier than the end of the Q4 2027 window for Spanish works. To be conservative and aligned with the developer’s own horizon while preserving the 2027 completion year, the terrestrial cable‑installation completion date is adjusted to 31 December 2027, representing completion by the end of Q4 2027. --- The project schedule indicates that terrestrial cable laying for the Bay of Biscay interconnection will be completed by the fourth quarter of 2027. At that point, the full underground HVDC cable system between the landfalls and the Gatika and Cubnezais converter stations is expected to be installed.
