Following the November 2013 bankruptcy of developer BARD Group, ownership of the BARD Offshore 1 project was taken over by Ocean Breeze Energy, a project company indirectly owned by UniCredit’s German arm, making Ocean Breeze Energy the new owner and operator of the 400 MW offshore wind farm.
