At the beginning of 2017, EnBW Offshore Service GmbH assumed responsibility for the technical operation of the accommodation and transformer platform at the BARD Offshore 1 wind farm under a three-year service agreement with owner-operator Ocean Breeze Energy. The contract covers technical operations of the North Sea substation, which also serves as living accommodation for the EnBW team and other users, marking EnBW’s entry into third-party offshore operations services in the North Sea.
