In July 2017, following REETEC’s acquisition of Offshore Wind Solutions (OWS), Ocean Breeze Energy and REETEC/OWS signed a new ten-year operations and maintenance contract for BARD Offshore 1. Under this long-term agreement, REETEC/OWS, using the former Bard facilities and fleet in Emden and a workforce of about 300, provides comprehensive O&M and repair services to keep the 80 BARD 5.0 turbines operating efficiently.
