In 2014, Offshore Wind Solutions (OWS) took over the operations and maintenance contract for BARD Offshore 1 after Bard Engineering ceased business, assuming responsibility for turbine O&M using Bard’s former premises, vessels and around 300 employees. This transition ensured continued servicing and repairs for the 400MW wind farm despite the collapse of its original turbine supplier and developer.
