Description
McDermott was selected by TenneT for an integrated EPFIC/EPCIC scope covering the BalWin4 (and LanWin1) 2 GW HVDC offshore grid connections in Germany. McDermott’s scope included designing, fabricating, installing and commissioning the offshore HVDC converter substation platform for BalWin4 (part of the BalWin delta concept), comprising a topside and jacket substructure.
