Description
Amprion appointed TÜV SÜD as Owner’s Engineer to supervise the construction of the offshore converter platforms for the BalWin1 and BalWin2 offshore grid connection systems. The scope included production monitoring of platform components at multiple global locations, including monitoring fabrication of large components at the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg (Germany), monitoring production of the support structure at Aker Solutions in Verdal (Norway), monitoring assembly at Dragados Offshore in Cádiz (Spain), and monitoring commissioning of the platforms offshore.
