Description
Amprion appointed TÜV SÜD as Owner's Engineer to supervise the construction of the BalWin2 (and BalWin1) offshore HVDC converter platforms. TÜV SÜD’s scope covered production monitoring of platform components at multiple global locations, including monitoring production at the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg, the support structure production at Aker Solutions in Verdal, the platform assembly at Dragados Offshore in Cádiz, and the commissioning activities offshore.
