Description
Aker Solutions signed a contract with Dragados Offshore to deliver the steel substructure for the BalWin2 2 GW offshore HVDC converter station. Aker Solutions’ scope included procurement, fabrication engineering and construction of the offshore HVDC substructure at its Verdal yard in Norway, with preparation planned to start in Q1 2026, construction in Q1 2027, and delivery targeted in 2029.
