Description
Dragados Offshore, in consortium with Siemens Energy, was commissioned by Amprion Offshore in 2023 to deliver the offshore HVDC converter platform for the BalWin1 offshore grid connection. Dragados Offshore’s scope covered the offshore platform package including detail design and engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction, load-out, transportation, offshore installation and hook-up, and installation and commissioning of platform systems for the BalWin1 converter platform (BalWin alpha).
