Description
Van Oord carried out seabed preparation works for the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 offshore wind farms, including precise rock placement on designated seabed areas. The rock placement was described as providing erosion (scour) protection for monopile foundations and providing protection and stabilisation for export and inter-array cables after installation, supporting the Bałtyk 3 export cable corridor as part of the overall offshore build campaign.
