Equinor and Polenergia plan to start transporting and installing monopile foundations and transition pieces for the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 offshore wind farms in spring 2026, using Heerema Marine Contractors’ heavy-lift vessel Thialf as part of a broader 2026 offshore installation campaign. For Bałtyk 3 this will mark the beginning of the main foundation installation phase following earlier subsea rock installation and other preparatory works.
