Iemants, a subsidiary of Smulders, was identified as responsible for the design and construction of the two offshore substations serving the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 offshore wind farms. The substations will collect power from the Siemens Gamesa turbines and transform it for export to the onshore grid.
