As part of preparing the Livelihood Restoration Plan for the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 offshore wind farms, the project team led stakeholder outreach and consultation with potentially affected fishers in March 2025, including direct engagement with stakeholders from 11–14 March 2025 and the distribution of a structured questionnaire that yielded 116 anonymous responses from commercial and recreational vessel owners, captains and crew. The consultation aimed to assess dependence on fishing income, identify skills and willingness to transition to offshore wind–related jobs, and understand potential vulnerabilities among those affected by the projects.
