By 23 May 2025, onshore construction for the Bałtyk 2 offshore wind farm (developed with Bałtyk 3 by Equinor and Polenergia) was already underway, including civil works for the onshore substations near Pęplino and the underground export cable corridor linking the common landfall west of Ustka to the existing PSE Słupsk Wierzbięcino 400 kV grid substation.
